Ballygarvanstonecraft.ie is an online store that allows customers to buy products for their gardens and patios including paving products, walling products, garden stone and patio products.

Work on this site also included setting up a fully content managed front end web site and estimating tool for working out roughly how much it would cost to get your new patio built.

This site uses a new updated version of the Dragnet Systems online store software. It features many great benefits including:

Christ With A K is a Cork based band who's music contains outspoken lyrics delivered with a comedic punch that has to be experienced. The site is all database driven and presented with a very clean design. The site will be re-launched in August '07.

City Gate is a new development that is in Mahon, Cork. This particular development comprising of 350,000 sq ft of office and retail space. The development is being handled by John Cleary Developments who are also looking after GatewayCork.com.

Both sites keep a 'clean and simple' approach for the design. It works quite well for this particular site I think. They also have an updatable news section to keep the site up to date.

This is a new management sales system built from the ground up to help companies manage and track sales enquiries.

The system is developed using C# and runs off a SQL Server 2005 database. The system setups up your potential clients under categories making it easy to find them later on. The system allows you to update progress of your sales leads, tag them for later call backs and run reports to see how many have generated into actual clients.

Easy House Exchange is a site designed to help people, developers and investors sell their houses by doing house swaps. The site is designed to be as user friendly and easy to use as possible.

I built this site using C# and SQL Server 2005 with sprinklings of AJAX here and there to help the end user experience. Although the site is launching with a no obligation free period there is a fully functional PayPal integrated system ready to go once the free period ends.

Hertz has partnered up with AerArann to be their exclusive car hire specialists. I was responsible for working closely with Hertz and AerArann on this project to ensure that the final product could fit with both companies current systems.

The site was developed using C# and XML. The system is called from Dragnets server on every booking confirmation on AerArann's site. The system auto picks the car model, pickup location, drop off location and price based on the customers booking with AerArann. This means the end user doesn't have to refill in textboxes with name, address, etc so a car can be booked extremely fast for the end user. This system has been extremely successful for Hertz and AerArann to date.

The design brief for this project was to create a car rental site that was quicker and easier to use that the existing system and that incorporated new design elements to help make the site stand out compared to existing car rental sites out there.

We successfully removed 2 extra steps in the booking process compared to the existing site and the site benefits from optimization techniques I used to help ensure the pages are loaded as quickly as possible. This new site loads roughly 3 times faster compared to the older site it replaces.

Also included for the client is a full email marketing system and admin reports including charts, export to excel options and much more.

This was the first .net project I made that had to include localization for the different languages on the site. I also had to include the localization for the jQuery calendars.

The main tech I used on this project included ASP.Net, Linq to XML, jQuery, Localization and SQL Server.
